Let me break the notion that 47% of us folk supporting President Obama are government entitled leechers. I’m actually very pissed at the notion. I work 40 hours a week so that I can pay my rent, put gas in my car, buy food for my apartment, and go to school full time. And if I’m a leecher for thinking that the United States government whether under a Democratic or a Republican president, should invest in its students through grants like the federal Pell Grant program then maybe I’ve missed a much larger picture here. Cause that’s not entitlement, that’s just a damn good investment program to make sure that America keeps it’s exceptional standing in the world. So when you talk about American exceptionalism, please be willing to put your money where your mouth is to make sure the focus is where it needs to be.
